Official Club Trip (OCT) for Saturday, May 23

Post by Mango »

Let's try this again.
Official Club Trip (OCT) for Saturday, May 23 will be on the Upper & Lower James River in Richmond. Meeting at 10:00 a.m. at 14th St take-out.
Please let me know if you are planning to come and, if so, what parts of the river you’re wanting to paddle. We’ll make logistic decisions once we know who’s coming and what they want to do. Rivers at 3.75'.
Rapids are rated class I-II for upper section (Pony Pasture to Reedy Creek) and class III-IV (Reedy Creek to 14th St).
Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out and loudly proclaiming....WOW What a ride! . . . . . Trying to live up to this, Priceless. As long as you have good insurance!
