OCT Lower Yough 8/6 & 7 Summer Gathering
I'll be coordinating the trip on the Lower Yough for the Summer Gathering.
Plan is to meet at the put in at 9am and run shuttle, to be on water at 10am.
I plan on getting launch passes and shuttle token. So, please let me know
if you're coming so I have enough.
Meeting and camping are planned for Benner's Campground. Info on that
we be put on a different thread.

Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out and loudly proclaiming....WOW What a ride! . . . . . Trying to live up to this, Priceless. As long as you have good insurance!

I'll post on facebook too, but I am looking for the chance to raft or shred the Lower Yough. Anyone know if Peter Leavesly is still paddling? He isn't in the directory.

I plan to kayak the Upper on Saturday and raft the Lower on Sunday. Will be Sherri and I in our raft on Sunday.

Are there any updates on camping next weekend or do you know who I should reach out to? I thought I heard something somewhere that we might have a group site at Brenners, but I don’t see any threads about it in the Forum or on FB. I’m hoping to grab a site and figure out rates.

A new system (Park Service) has been implemented for the LY launch tickets and shuttle fee. No more online reservations. Pay at the window now. They have changed it to a flat fee of $10 per person per day. That includes both the launch pass and shuttle token. I still plan on buying for the group. Please have $10 per person to pay me back. If you have said that you're coming and can't make it, let me know so I don't get more than we need.
