Anybody interested in entering the Cheat race in a raft. I have a Aire Puma, 3-4 person capacity. Will need at least one person in the raft or a kayaker who will stay close by to tell/show me the lines in the canyon as I have never done it before.

Want to raft Cheat Gorge Saturday

Post by CharlesWare »

I plan to take my raft up for CheatFest and the Coastals meeting. My son and I may R-2, but I could take along two or three others. I would like to paddle with a compatible group. We will plan to camp with the Coastals on Friday and Saturday nights. Anyone interested? We will also try to paddle Sunday morning.

I can bring my raft to Cheat Fest and I will have room for 1-3 people both Saturday and Sunday as Susan will not be coming. I have gear, paddles, PFDs and Helmets for for all spots, you only need your warm river clothes.

Sorry, but I just got back from my doctor's office. A persistent cough is now pneumonia. Staying home. Bummer!

I'm planning to be there. I'll run the race if the level stays in the 4' range or below, otherwise I'll probably join the Dry Fork group. Saturday I'll be driving back home after paddling.
