Appomattox Sunday 15 March, 7:30

Post by Gnarly »

Depending on the water level, a couple of us may run the Appomattox early (7:00 or 7:30ish) Sunday morning. The level is down, but is forecast to come up a little during the night. We're watching the gauge and will decide this evening whether or not to go. Post or PM if interested.

Cheers,

Nate

I am interested. Was thinking of going to the mountains but neither Tye nor Pedlar have come up much.

Why are you starting so early?

Water level looks good, so we are meeting at the takeout at 7:30.

David, since you ask - I have to be up at 3 am on Monday. Forcing myself to get up and on the river early tomorrow is about the only way I know that I can get myself tired enough to fall asleep before 10 or 11 tomorrow night. And I think Drew, the other paddler that's coming so far, has an afternoon conflict.

Anyway, all are welcome if anybody else wants to brave the early wakeup on a Sunday morning. Weather and water level look nice.

David,

I have no interest in going that early but I would be interested in the a midday run if you can make that time.

Glen,

I will take you up on that and let's plan a noon meeting at the Route 36 bridge takeout.

Should be a good level and good weather. Anyone else in? Gnarly, want to do another lap? That will definitely help you get to sleep.

Noon it is .....See ya at the takeout David!

I have a new car and I am without a rack right now so we will be limited to two boats on my vehicle.
