Weekend in RVA

Post by tolyho »

Doesn't look like anything will bump up with this rain that is coming through but I need to get the blades wet this weekend since I haven't paddled in a couple of months.

Making a trip to NC next weekend so I'd like to keep this in RVA since nothing in the VA Blue ridge will be going.

I'll look for times at 14th st since I'm pretty open.

I'm available to boat this weekend, however, with the forecast for rain today and Thursday I'm hopeful that something starting with "c" and ending with "reek" will come into play by the weekend without doing more than a day trip (also excluding Big Mike's day trips unless he's driving and I'm sleeping).

I like your thinking John. Josh I'll be based in Greene so if anything goes in the h to the ills then we make a break for the vertical!

If nothing goes, I'll be hitting the LJ on Sunday after teaching a morning roll clinic. Should be able to make 14th St by noon.
Generally, I think that if I have the opportunity to paddle, and I've got something else to do or I feel like I shouldn't go for some reason, then I force myself to go and I always have a great time. So, I guess when in doubt -- Go, Paddle. -- Tommy Hilleke

I'm down for 11 on Saturday. That works better for me than Sunday. See you there!

Is the normal Sunday group meeting at 14th St at 11? Or is it noon? Gromit and I are coming. Just want to nail down the time.

Chris, I will make it one of these runs (probably not both) and I'll bring your stuff from the trailer.
