LJ - Saturday 7/28 dawn patrol

Post by jhartrva »

Many of the usual suspects are in PA for the quarterly meeting. Anyone up for an early LJ run on Saturday?

I'm in, if you gentlemen don't mind having a new guy along. I'm reasonably comfortable in Class III, and have a pretty solid combat roll, but this would be my first time down the Lower James. I've been down the Upper five or six times this year, and just spent six days on the Rogue River in Oregon [see the Trip Reports forum for details], so I think I'm ready to try the Lower at a summer water level. If you don't mind me tagging along, let me know and I'll be there.

Cheers,

Nate

I am in. Nate, I am comfortable taking you for your LJ PFD if YOAD is game.

Much appreciated. See you at 6 am. I'll be the silver 4Runner with a blue boat.
