Cabin accommodations for New River weekend

Post by RangeRon78 »

Ronnie Tucker and I have space for another guy to stay with us in the cabin JJ reserved, since he's not able to come. We're staying at River Retreat, across the road from Ray's. Cost would be about $18/night (1/3 the cabin fee + $6 camp fee.) Sorry for the late notice. Call me on my mobile (below) if you're interested. I won't be checking this message board or e-mail after about 10:00 p.m. this evening.

Cabin accommodations for New River OCT

Post by RangeRon78 »

Randy Bell from Charlottesville called me early this afternoon and said he'd like to stay with us, so we can't accommodate anyone else. Sorry.

[Jer, I didn't get a private message and Randy already had spoken for the remaining space in the cabin, anyway. Again, sorry.--Ron]

Birthdays - n - boating

Post by Alicia »

Looking forward to this trip - it's always fun to see folks from other parts. There's also usually some cake, as some special folks have birthdays around this weekend (Terri B., Ginny, & Ken).

Even though the river's low, where else would you rather be on the last unofficial weekend of summer, w/ temps near 90?

Sounds like a great trip. I'm definitely in. If anyone would like to carpool from Charlottesville or nearby, please let me know.

Intellicast says showers and a high of 69 for Fayetteville on Monday. Might could oughta bring a splash jacket.

Is anyone (with the skills) available to guide a raft on the NRG this weekend? (I've got the raft, need a guide!) I'm staying at Rays, won't have access to this board past 6 PM or so today, so call the cell: (Five fore oh) too tree nien oh ate seven fore, or ask someone at Rays where to find me!
