Looking for ride sharing fest weekend

Post by rvakayaker »

My wife and I are going to G-fest but I can't leave until saturday morning and she can leave friday eve. Looking for anyone that may want to either ride with one of us or give one of us a ride. I will be returning monday after the race (late). If interested in any senario that helps reduce gas expense send me an e-mail at tacraft@vcu.edu

Ken & I are coming up Fri am for the LG, & New on Sat (& perhaps Sun). Looking fwd to it, as always. Hoping to get to see Justin, too.

And advance thanx to Dave K., as well as Julie & Dave L., for coordinating the New trips.

I am hoping to run the New River Gorge on Sunday. I have a LG raft trip scheduled for Saturday morning so I will miss the 10 a.m. trip on the NRG. If anyone is planing on running the Gorge on Sunday, and would not mind a first timer joining, please post or send me a message. Thanks, Jimmy Thomas

A little chilly at night is a good thing! It makes it easier to snuggle. :D

Psst, must burn all "imported" wood or not bring it at all: http://www.nps.gov/neri/planyourvisit/u ... poster.pdf I don't think that rule applies to marshmallows, graham crackers and chocolate...except the "eat it all" part.

Juggy, remember that those little pieces of wood are wood, too.

Burned or eaten, it doesn't matter just so long as it doesn't get thrown out.

I'm planning to arrive Friday evening and run the Gorge Saturday; I'm not sure about Sunday. I may do the Glade Creek section.

Dropping out of paddling the NRG on Saturday. The group I am traveling with, will be camping at Gauley fest and we will be paddling the LG on Saturday.

Catch you all on another trip.

I've been in touch with JimmyT via email on this but in case anyone's lurking, I'll most likely paddle the NRG on Sunday.
