App. on Saturday

Looks like 3-4 of us are going to run the App. on Saturday.

Probably meet around 9:30a - 10a at the takeout.

Will be more definite if anyone else is interested.

Probably make it down river in 2-3 hours.

Will go as long as level stays above 4' on Matoaca Gauge.

Note: Upper Tye has stayed up pretty well this week. Wish I could have gotten away from work to run it. May even be running on Friday.

I do not, however, remember how to get to the takeout. I would be coming from the Charlottesville area to Richmond and then south to the App but I don't know the directions to the take-out.

Looks like level will be around 4.0 - 4.5' based on recent drop rate.

We plan to meet at 9:45am at takeout.

If planning on meeting up with us and not e-mailed me, please let me know or we will not be looking for anyone beyond those I already know are going.

If you are a little late we will be up at the put in at the base of the dam. Hope to be on river by 10:30am and off by 1:30pm. One of us needs to be back by 3:30pm (Yorktown)
