Called the reservation line, and the campground and was told they aren't
taking reservations, first come first serve until Memorial Weekend.
Campground didn't know anything about Coastals coming that weekend.
Was anything set up with them?
Is there a section Coastals has set aside?

Wade
Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out and loudly proclaiming....WOW What a ride! . . . . . Trying to live up to this, Priceless. As long as you have good insurance!

Hey All -

When I made the reservation, they stated that they may or may not be accepting reservations depending on Demand - Since they are not, It means that demand it low.

We are reserved in the Shelter, I have the number of the shelter at my house (I'm at work right now.)

I did not reserve a particular area for Coastals. This campground is mainly for Powerboaters, With it being so early in the season, I think we will be able to find one another fairly easily.-

Let me know if you have any Questions - 804-399-9092 or PM me.

Thanks

Oh BTW -

Did I mention that this area is one of the Greatest Places on Earth (not the campground, but the Region.)

You've got everything from Class II to Class V within 1:15 of the campground including a Total Classic in the Lower Yough.

If turnout is good, there will be lotsa opportunities to get on to New rivers with experienced paddlers.

This is a Gathering focused more on the RIVERS/Paddling, and less on the meeting.

Come one, come all and Enjoy some spring paddling in the Mountains of WV, MD, and PA.

I feel your pain, bro. I've got a class to teach that weekend so I won't be able to make it, either. Just our luck that they finally have a meeting at a place that has some boating around and we can't make it.

I reckon they'll have to figure our a way to get along without us.

Hey All -

I was just talking with the Park Ranger - They have a Direct line at 301-387-5563 if you have any specific Question. They will have a Coastals Label on Shelter #1.
