I will go as a sweep to the group. Old, broken down, decrepit, paddlers should not lead trips.

The rain dances are not working. No rain in sight for 10 days. The AWA site has a minimum of 190 CFS and my minimum is 70 CFS and the USGS reading is at 53 CFS. Also my trip on the Rockfish at this time is to low and looks to be a cancellation if no rain.

The level is too low for a paddle. This river will no longer be offered as the putins now are posted and no one to contact for permission. I will substitute the Mormons River instead the next time. The tributaries to the James are all running to low to paddle including the Rockfish and Hardware rive...

The river level is too low for the trip. Minimum is 80 CFS and at present it is in the 40s. No rain in forecast.
