Statons Creek- Sunday 3/6

When we arrived to Statons around 2:00pm the level was close to 200 and rising fast. When we got off, it has risen nearly 300 cfs. We ended up walking a few of the drops due to wood, but overall, it was a good run. Below are some pictures from our run:

Ken, I might be there. I was planning to hike in the morning, so depending on how early I get started, I may or may not get to Goshen. Maybe I'll catch you for a 2nd lap. Don't wait up for me. Enjoy the beautiful weather

Goshen Saturday morning

Anyone want to scrape down the pass with me Saturday morning? I'm thinking about camping in the area tonight and heading there for a few laps in the morning.

Ken, any chance you'd want to get on the Maury for an afternoon paddle? Looks like it'll be runnable..Maybe even boofable..
Will you post in the morning what you're running? I may take the day off and catch up with you for a morning paddle as well. I'm flexible tommorow.

Got out there yesterday, level was right around 5.0
It was pretty sticky, but fun. I might try to get out there again today around 4:00pm if the level goes up

Myself and two other Richmond paddlers put on the river with this group today. We were a bit downstream when the tragedy occurred.
Thoughts and prayers go out.
