I packed my car with the intention of running the Lower @5-5:30 today. If you feel it's ill-advised given the level and conditions I'm okay running the Upper. With sunset @ 6:44 today it may be challenging to get the Upper and Lower in if we adhere to the usual 5:30 timetable

I had a blast paddling with you, Eric and the whole rest of the crew. I very much appreciate the beta (when in doubt, paddle river right) as I was shaking off some cobwebs myself. Not sure when it'll be up to that level again so it was nice to knock it off my to-do list.

This would be a PFD for me. Is this river at this level within my skill set? I've run James @9' and Maury at 400 cfs without issue.

I plan on being there. What type of boat do you recommend? I've got a Pyranha Rev, Remix 69, and 17" Sea kayak at my disposal.

I'm definitely interested. I go there all the time but never bring my kayak to the ocean side.

I was thinking 11sh but am fairly flexible on time. I just need to be home for the kids when they get off the bus. I'm not sure the Appomattox will be running but we're getting rain today so it's possible. Otherwise a LJ run is fine.
