Balcony on Sunday
A friend and I are looking to paddle Balcony Falls on Sunday. It has been a long time since I've paddled it, but I know it's within my comfort zone. We would love to get together a crew and shuttle. We would like an early start (meet at 9:30?) and off the water by 3:30- also a good plan since it loo...

Bluestone or New Sept. 8
A friend and I will be camping at Pipestem State Park next weekend and would like to paddle on Sunday, hurricane forecast permitting. If we get rain enough for the Bluestone to come up, we'd go for that. If not, then the New below the Bluestone Dam. We've never paddled either and would be more comfo...

Roanoke area this Sat. 7/28- Kibler, Balcony?
I have never paddled Kibler, but someone told me it's releasing this Saturday. Does anyone know details or want to go? Or Balcony or anything else running (seems like no other options...)?
I would like to get on the water fairly early and be home in the late afternoon.

Lower Yough Sun 8/5 or Wed 8/8
I am going to be up in Ohiopyle with some biking family and of course would like to get some paddling in. Will anyone else happen to be up that way at the same time? I am thinking of midday/afternoon on Sunday or earlier on Wednesday (the beginning and end of the family trip).

Sunday 8/27 Balcony or Roanoke River Gorge
Hi all, I was hoping to paddle this Sunday, but Balcony is running low. AW says that the Roanoke River Gorge has water- low at about 180 cfs. I've never run that section of the Roanoke, but I would be up for a try. I will be camping this weekend with little cell service so I'd like to see if I can s...
