Just wondering, how far is that trip and about how far is it across? Eastern shore boating is great! Paddled over there several times, most of my kayaking this year is on Smith Mountain Lake.

The recreational releases are every Saturday in July with the Kibler race on the last release day July 27. Just a thought! Make sure to call that morning !

Looking like a lot dropping out for tomorrow, with the drive and the forecast of storms tomorrow I most likely will not try to be there. Thanks for trying !! You never know about the weather and it looks like a repeat of last Friday!

Gravel lot is up the road from the AT lot ! Cuts off about a mile of flat water!

May try to meet up with you all! Most likely taking out at the gravel lot!
